Jagdgrendiere - Very nice to see a U weapon on a squad. Interesting how they are so burdened b the 75mm that only the commander has secondary weapons.

Laser-Jagdgrenadiere - Pretty much half a Wotan mounted on a squad.

Sturmprinz - Now this was a surprise. It's not a heavy walker, it's just a very large medium walker. Very cheap, very weak, but serves its purpose as a troop carries with some good light firepower and veru usaable AA capability.

Prinzluther. This can be quite an annoyance, with a Command Squad sitting safely inside it using its abilities.

Can't see the jagd grenadiers getting much play when you get the far superior laser-jagds for 3pts more. The walkers are nicely stated as they are just Hanomags with legs and not a heavy walker, seem to be paying a high price to have your command squad secure, might be better just to hide them behind an obstacle.

Yeah, the problem with those transport walkers is that they'll cost a lot of $$ and they have the usual problem of fielding limitation due to their occupying 4 squares.

The preview also said that the command vehicle would allow a re-roll on command abilities. Your not just keeping them safe, you making them a tactical headache for your opponent.

I like the new walkers but im a little pissed they copied my idea before i got mine finished.

A bit underwhelmed by the Axis vehicles. While I love the look of them, the stats also mean they're big, juicy, easy targets lumbering around the battlefield, even with their low point cost. AR 4 gives me a bad vibe, as a lot of anti-tank weapons are able to deal 6 damage points in just one hit.

Depending on the price of the unit, I'll think about getting one or more for customizing purposes.

While I agree with your assessment I would see trying to shield these vehicles to move in troops. Although you could do the same with regular vehicles screening regular troops moving on foot.

One thing that's a bit weird about the two Grenadiere units is that they are mounted on a single base.

So, if they take, say, one point of damage, how do you indicate which soldier was killed?

And can they still fire those huge guns if there is only a single figure left?

They count hits like vehicles or heroes. Fully effective until they're dead.
