Has Anyone Drastically Changed the Colors of their Miniatures Yet?

Oddly, the interior Left sfoil did not get bathed in their ink wash. I tried the GW Badab Black, but it didn't quite have the same darkness to it. I may just use a little extra black ink in the wash and try again.

Nice work, I did my 181st TIEs last night, I don't think they're much worth posting, just because it's a simple stripe.

Badab Black is my favorite, or Agrax Earthshade…I actually used P3's Armor Wash on my X-Wing, though.

Good idea - I will give that a try.

Post up the pics - I'm curious to see how they turned out :)

I also have 1 Y-Wing mostly done. I added a turret, redid the grey stripes to brown, bronzed the piping on the body of the ship, added the blue 'pin stripe' to the side of the cockpit, and changed the R4 to a R2 unit on the back.

Superb job on your "Blue 2" JustinKase, very nice indeed.

Thanks Trooper

Good job guys and thanks for the information.

Just wondering, would other paints be worth using?

What do you mean by "other paints be worth using"? Like enamel instead of acrylic? Or Reaper v. PP v. GW v. Vallejo?
