I'm new to the whole Living Card Game experience and I was wondering if they typically have different levels of rarity for each card or will all the cards be printed with the exact same number released?

Everything is fixed distribution, so there are no rare cards at all. The only "rarity" would be, for example, a copy of "Unexpected Courage" from the Lords of the Rings Card Game, where there is only one copy included in the Core Set, so if you wanted to include the maximum allowable in your deck (which is 3 copies), you would need to buy 3 Core Sets in total.

That's about the only drawback, really, in terms of card collecting, BUT you're still going to come out way ahead, financially, than if this was a typical blind-buy booster pack distribution that CCG's have been running on since inception.

To expand a bit on cleardave's explanation:

Such incomplete distribution is limited only to an LCG's Core Set. So, to continue using the LotR example: there are cards in the Core Set that there are only one or two of, despite being able to include up to three copies of a given card in your deck. Every monthly pack, on the other hand, has all the cards for your deck in triplicate. You may need to buy multiple Core Sets, but you should (in theory at least) never need to buy multiples of a monthly pack.

Unlike the rest of FFG's LCGs, Star Wars uses different deckbuilding requirements. Cards are organized into six card "pods;" you construct an Objective deck of ten Objective cards, and each Objective is tied to five cards for your regular deck. Most pods can be included twice in a deck, with a few being only able to be included once in your decks. The Star Wars Core Set will likely include one copy of each of its pods, so you would need to buy a second to have a complete set (unlike other LCGs, where you need a third Core for completion's sake). We don't yet know how the Force Packs will be structured, but they should include enough cards for each pod to use fully in any given deck.
