We uploaded two files onto BoardGameGeek:

The Elder Sign Concise Rulebook - This is the 20 page rulebook simplified and reduced to 7 pages without any loss of content. The rules have been greatly clarified, making them easier to understand and follow. Only the most necessary graphics have been kept. As a result, the rulebook is a fraction of its previous huge size, being reduced from 12.7 MB to 856 KB.

The Alhazred Heresies - Lots of people have offered all sorts of Elder Sign variants. I have brought together a number of favourites and added a few of my own ideas. This is 2-pages of easy-to-use rules intended to make the game more fun. Included are an interesting selection of Unclean Blasphemies, Fresh Nightmares, and Subterranean Abominations.

Both files have proved very popular, although the rulebook has had twice as many downloads. The easiest way I found to make Elder Sign harder was to limit the Clue Tokens to only being able to re-roll one dice only, as opposed to as many as you want.

It occurred to me that you guys would like to try them, so I have included them here.
