Purging Virus Counters

The Corporation Reference Card says "Three Clicks : Purge virus counters."

Does this mean on a targeted card or all virus counters in play (for example: on two Parasites and one Datasucker)?

Rule does not specify to choose a card. It is ALL virus counters in play.

Wow. It takes a lot of time to generate virus counters. In one turn the Corp wipes them all of of the board? Seems excessive. But, thank you for the response.

The corp player sacrifices an entire turn to do it though. That can have a huge impact.
