Hi all,
I intend to go down to Essen next week, and I saw that the game GOT 2nd ed. Revised version will be there.
Any info on what this revise means? Only a reprint or some real changes (like Lanister/Greyjoy rebalance)?
thanks guys

I wouldn't say it is a Lannister/Greyjoy rebalance, but a host of changes that do alter their dynamic some.
Map is essentially 6 player Clash of Kings map plus ports, but with a shorter river in the south.
New set of house cards. (Strengths from Storm of Swords, but stronger special abilities)
New Westeros decks, but close to the ones from Storm of Swords.
New wildling deck, (small changes to the existing cards, plus several (4?) new ones).
Each player has the garrisons from Storm of Swords 4 player map in their home territory.
Players have one more knight, one less siege engine.
Optional Tides of battle cards can give random bonuses is battle.
No leaders, one time orders, or fortification tokens.
Change to Greyjoy setup, so one ship starts in port.
Several rules changes, the most significant being that special consolidate power can be used like the mustering one time order, and special raid can raid defense (but can no longer raid two areas).
Wait, is there now a revised version of 2nd Edition? The first version of 2nd Edition was released in time for Christmas 2011. Are you telling me there's another revision coming out?
My response was just changes between 1st Ed + expansions and 2nd Ed. But looking at the original question again, maybe he was thinking there is a new revised version of 2nd edition. To the best of my knowledge there isn't one. I would guess that it was just a confusing Essen catalogue which alternately referred to the same thing as 2nd edition or revised edition.
