Timing

By AwesomeDhalsim, in UFS Rules Q & A

Relevant text of the 2 cards: Card 1: R Discard 1 card: After you take damage from your opponent's card, .... Card 2: R Commit: After your opponent's attack deals damage to you, .... only playable if you have no cards in hand. Card 3: R Commit: When a player is taking damage from an attack...

My opponent's attack do damage to me, I play the effect of Card 1 and discard the last card of my hand, can I play Card 2's ability since now I have no cards in hand? On the other hand, my opponent's attack do damage to me, can I play Card 2's ability and then play Card 1's ability. Seems to me the timing of playing the 2 cards are the same and I can choose to play which card first and second, right?

Is Card 3's timing trigger before Card 1 and 2 or they all trigger at the same time frame? Just to make sure. Thanks

Well, yes, card one and card two both have the same trigger, however, with the restriction that is on card two and the cost for card one, I don't see how you plan to play two and then one.

But yes, they do have the same trigger, and yes, you can react with card 1 and then card 2.

As for card 3, that would have to be done while you are taking the damage. So, if you have already taken the damage and responding with card1 or 2, then the window is closed for this card.

also note that card 3 can be used on opponents attack

and yes, unless you have a 4th hidden card to randomly draw a card, the only way these can go off is 312

*STAMP*

Well, if number 2 is Lone Wolf, then you could do 2 and then 1.
