I've tried googling this question whilst using site: FFG but didn't find any hits so am posting the query here. Apologies if it has been covered somewhere else and I've not found it.
Where Bandits of Winter gains a discard a Stark/GJ location if it's winter, I presume that this isn't optional? And therefore if your opponent isn't Stark or GJ you have to discard one of your own locations?
I presume this because it doesn't include the word "response" and therefore I presume it's not optional?

Something I learned from a blog over at cardgamedb.com is that if you do a google search and include the phrase "site:www.fantasyflighgames.com" then it will search that site for the given terms. It has worked wonders on helping to locate actual content.
