I ordered one of the core sets so once that gets here I'm up to 3 TIE Fighters, 1 X-Wing, 1 TIE Advanced.

I own 3 of every ship that is except for the TIE and I have 6 of them.

I probably have too many Y-wings, but I want an extra X-wing and a couple more TIEs. I will probably buy another starter set.

When the new stuff comes out I want at least three of the A-wing and the TIE-interceptor (but I would prefer more TIE-interceptors) and only one of the new larger ships.

I just picked up another TIE Fighter Expansion Pack, bringing the total to six.

So my total collection equals:
4 X-Wings
3 Y-Wings
6 TIE Fighters
2 TIE Advanced

15 Total

As for Wave 2, I plan to get (to start out with):
1 YT-1300 ( Millennium Falcon )
1 Firespray ( Slave 1 )
3 - 4 A-Wings
3 - 4 TIE Interceptor

For the YT-1300 and Firespray, this depends on the game play, whether I get more or not.

3 cores, 1 X, 1 TIE, 3 Y, 3 TIE ad. Just bought 1 more each of the Y and Adv. tonight….I get a 20% educator discount at Barnes and Noble.

I keep thinking I'm done with wave 1. Now I wonder if I don't need that one more TIE to make the full 100 point swarm. Ugh it's an addiction.

I too feel like 1 more box set, and so I ordered it today

Got my core set box from Target to bring me up to 5 ships. Kind of sorry I didn't get a second one since I still need 2 more X-Wings and TIE Fighters. A single X-Wing and another starter box would have done it as well as getting me extra dice and counters.

Well I picked up two starters from target but looking back I wish I'd picked up one more. I've got the following:

5 x Tie Fighter

1 x Tie Advanced

3 x X-Wing

1 x Y-Wing

I'm ordering some custom foam from battle foam since I now have an official use for my empty shield bag I got at adepticon last year. It takes GW sized foam. It's big enough to fit every possible Alliance build on a single sheet and same for the Imperials. I'll be ordering a foam tray for all the cards and needed bitz too. So I also intend at some point to pick up the following:

1 x Starter Set (2xTies, 1xX-wing)

4 x Y-Wings

3 x Tie Advanced

1 x Tie Fighter

5 x A-Wing (assuming a point cost of less than 20)

5 x Interceptor (assuming a point cost of 17+)

I first saw this game about a month from release and thought it looked cool. Fast forward to last week where after completely forgetting about it I saw it at a local game store. One of the employees there had actually purchased it recently and told me all about it. Of course then I had to pick up the starter. Fast forward a couple more days and now I've placed an order of 1 x-wing, 5 y-wing, 4 tie/x1, 2 tie, and 3 more starters sets(one of which will be a gift for a friend who's a big star wars fan and gamer, but never got into miniatures because he doesn't like ie is terrible at painting). My total was $180 with free shipping. Can't help but feel like I'm making off like a bandit and can't wait for everything to get here to play with my new ships. I also can't wait for the A-Wing. Definately my favorite ship from the OT.
