I figured I would be set until Wave 2 went out but….then I ordered another Core Set to get that 4x X-Wing swarm build and add 2x TIE Fighter to get closer to the TIE Swarm build. Hopefully I am all set until Wave 2 hits the shelves.

The X-Wings have been touched up to make them match(sort of) the pictures from www.modelermagic.com/ for Red 2 and Red 3 so far. I just need to find a similar picture of Red 5.

Four X-Wings, 7 TIE fighters, 1 TIE advanced, 2 Y-Wings. I also ordered another Y-Wing and TIE advanced this morning, and feel the urge for a fourth core set and another X-Wing expansion, to bring my total up to two X-Wing flight wings, and three of TIE fighters. Well, why not…

I have 1 X-Wing. I have a core set on order, and am looking to also pick up another X-Wing and a Y-Wing. It is also in the plans to get the Millennium Falcon and 2 A-Wings, at least. I have high hopes for the A-Wings

A buddy of mine is going to primarily play Empire, so that explains all the Reble love on my part.

I fully intended on flying an entire Imperial fighter squadron with mixed flight elements for special missions (So 12 TIE/LN with some add-ons). This has changed, and I'm now going for being able to field an entire flight group (4 ships) if I wanted. This is mostly for scenario purposes since I don't have a regular opponent to play the Rebellion against my Empire.

So right now I'm up to

4x TIE/Ln (one flight group)
3x TIE/Ad x1

3x X-Wing
2x Y-Wing (one flight element)

Pondering my next purchase… might be another TIE Ad so I can have a full f light of them.

Including two core-sets, I have bought the expansions and traded ships with my friend so have the following (I am a primarily Imperial player);

8 x TIE Fighter

2 x TIE Advanced

3 x X-Wings

1 x Y Wing

To say I am eagerly awaiting the next wave of releases is a bit of an understatement.

Falcon is a must for me

Slave 1 is more of a want for nostalgia than for gaming, so it would be the last one bought I imagine.

When all is said and done,

4x X-wings, 2x Y-wings, 2x A-wings, and the Falcon would do me just fine for the Rebels

12x TIEs, 4x TIE/ints, and 1-2x TIE/advs would suit me just fine

Just 1 TIE Advanced for me so far.

I was interested in the game back when I first heard about it, but I didn't actually see anything from the game in a store until last weekend. I decided to pick one up to see what the quality level on them was. I picked the TIE Advance since I figured if they were as good as they looked in the package I'd be getting the starter box next and the TIE Advance would go nicely with those. I do really like them so knowing me the way I do its probably just a matter of time until I'm up 3 of each ship type.

I've got a core set and one of each of the current expansion fighters, and I'd like to get two of everything eventually, but it's not a terribly huge priority for my nerd spending right now.

Including 2 core sets I have

9 tie fighters

3 tie advanced

4 x wings

3 y wings

(this thread has been great for reassuring me I'm not the only person with a problem)!

Sounds to me grape from your previous post you won't be far behind for too long,trust me big games and re-cycling tie fighters is worth the cost!
