Well, I just ordered my second batch, which was a duplicate of my initial order EXCEPT for an additional TIE Advanced. When it rolls in next week, I will have:

6xTIE, 1xTIE Advanced, 4xX-Wing and 2xY-Wing. That's not bad for an "amateur."

As a side note, THIS go-round I went with CoolStuffInc.; nothing wrong with Miniatures Market, but they're out of everything! CSI is actually marginally more expensive (literally pennies per item), but they have much highter Shipping. MM cost me $10 for actually one more model, and CSI cost me $15.19. So, we'll see how the rest of the experience goes.

One of my friends has done a more lopsided build focusing on imps, since those will be his tourney squads… i decided to do even building for options fir tiurneys and casual plah against non owners… its also nice that i can "sponsor" a friend at a tourney, maybe 2 if i get my hands in one more core…

I picked up my second starter set yesterday, so I now own

Two Starters, and one of each of the expansions apart from the TIE Advanced, which I haven't been able to source locally. I'll find one eventually.

then waiting for Wave 2 but might add a second starter set before that depending on when the ships come out
