Hi guys i have just bought Arkham Horror and am having my first run through.

I have noticed that each location has two symbols relating to items/spell cards.

I cant see anywhere in the rules where the use for these icons i mentioned!

Can anyone shed a little light on this one for me??

I believe they are there to give you a hint to the types of items you can find or events that can happen at that location. They are just hints, though! No promises. Not everything that happens in a location gives you the nicely advertised whatever.

hehe, i have so far played just one 1-player game and would totally agree!! More often than not i have had my hand full
