Hi!

I am moving to Beijing in a couple of weeks, and I am searching for places in the city to play and buy FFG´s LCG-games, Netrunner in particular. I found an article here on the FFG site about a Game Of Thrones LCG tournament being held in China, so I at least know there are people in the country playing that game, but i cant seem to find any info on where they gather or where they buy the games.

If there is anyone out there who knows of a community of players, I would very much appreciate a heads up! Of course,if you are a player yourself, and live in Beijing, don´t hesitate to write me.

I moved out of Beijing (after living there for seven years) last year. For AGoT, there is Chinese version published from a Shanghai company (licensed by FFG), so there is a strong community playing the game. For a "new" game as Netrunner (as far as I know there is no one playing the classic version of Netrunner), I don't think a community exists yet, especially when one of the major distributor, the Wargame Club, still does not have the product in stock yet.

You´re right, it is probably much too early for any kind of Netrunner community to have been established, what with the game being brand new and currently out of stock.

I have found the webpage of the company that publishes the Chinese version of AGoT, Game Harbor. It appears that they have also picked up the Lord of the Rings LCG, so with a little luck, maybe we will see a Chinese version of Netrunner too. I definitely wouldn´t mind playing a Chinese version with the locals,it would be a great way to have fun while improving my rusty Chinese language skills. Like edutainment, but in a good way.

Seven years of experience as a boardgamer living in Beijing, you say? I might contact you again for some tips once I move over there myself.

Haven't heard of much of a community for it yet, but the game is available by Taobao. Haven't played much yet, but send me a PM if you'd like a game!
