due to some unforseeable circumstances this years Stahleck Asylum will NOT take place from 12-14 june (as unofficially announced already).

i would like to ask you now, what time is best to have an event like this. imo autemn (a weekend in october) wouldnt be that bad. not much to do during this season of the year, people arent going on holidays. its cold and raining outside, so sitting together for some COC fun within strong castle walls is a good idea, isnt it?!

so to all that might be interested in this, please tell us what you think about it.

The surroundings are pretty lovely (and Shoggoth invested) so I´m hoping for some time when it´s not that rainy. During the summer, I´ve already have other plans though. I suppose fall is OK and we´ll have a wet, slippery mountain to climb

Hi again. I was already making plans for Stahleck in June, so this news arrived just in time to reconsider my schedule.

Autum is a good time to organize the European Championship. At least, much better than June. I'm going to try to make a little survey among the spanish players and what they think of the perfect time to do it. For us is also better because Spanish Core Set and next Asylum Packs would be in stores already and people had had the chance to discover the cards by themselves.

I really want to go back there to play and meet all the players again.

Hmm, for me this is bad news. I had already made some plans with June in mind, but I guess we'll have to settle for autumn. I'm sure the tournament itself will be just as good then as it would have been in summer. It's just that in autumn the studies continue so it's going to be tough to be away even one weekend.

The main thing is however, that Stahleck 2009 will take place even if not in summer. It's afterall the biggest CoC event of the year.

the only possible date for stahleck 09 is 11-13. dec

now maybe this is not a good date for many of us, because christmas is quite close (for me its no problem).

so my question to all that might be interested: would you still be coming when the event take splace during this weekend?

December means difficulty on the road, for me .... but I won't mind, as soon as I'll be able to meet you IRL, guys !

Just before Christmas is a little tricky, but OK count me in. I guess I will have to be organised this year and do my shopping a bit earlier!

It'll be hard to get some days off in that period, but I sure will try.

Any news about Stahleck Asylum? Is the date set in December? Autumn would have been the best time for me, but I'll be happy with December, too.

11-13 dec is the only weekend at castle stahleck, that still offers enough rooms and the rittersaal (big gaming hall). so, yes, its definately going to be at this date. hope to see you all!
