I split my force intiially then closed on one side of the Imps focusing firepower. The free target locks and focus cards really helped! I ended up wiping out the TIEs with no loss for the rebels. I'm not a big fan of the Y Wing but I found it's easy to stay out of trouble and use the 360 degree ION to help out the other x Wings.

Left hand side X wings break right and accelerate speed 4 towards right hand TIEs (I think my opponent expected them to do a soft left turn and didn't line up with them well)

It looks like it was a fun game. Being totally unpredictable is the key to success with Rebels in my experience and it seems like to crossed them up just right… nice work. Is that your LGS? Did they make that table for X wing?

Also the rebs chose lower skilled pilots rather than Wedge, Luke, +1. To fight the TIE swarm the rebs need numbers to support each other. We all know there will be lots of TIEs just for the fact that they're generally cheaper (as well as most people have bought 2+ core sets - makes sense).
