Do agendas have traits?

By livingEND, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

For example: Is the " Treaty. " part of the agenda Alliance considered to be a trait?

Agendas are not in play, so anything interacting with them has to specifically say so. You can't "give" an agenda a treaty trait. For practical purposes, I don't think there's any reason why it would matter.

As to whether it is a trait, that I'm not sure… I'm inclined to say yes.

Yes, agendas can have traits.

Yes, the "Treaty" on Alliance is a trait, as is "The North" on the various NW and Wildling agendas.

You can always recognize traits by their bold, italic font.

That said, Istaril is correct. Because agendas are not considered "in play," there is currently nothing in the game that can give an agenda a trait.

Perhaps he asked because there are some cards that play off of traits on agendas (like At the Wall).

I just thought it was interesting to know…

Thanks for the answers.

You can totally give traits to house cards, though. It's a totally empty gesture, but it's immensely satisfying to give the Traitor trait to the Lannister hose card. ;)
