John, Like I said I am sorry. I forgot it was election day when I set up the time. I got off work 20 minutes early and stopped by the store to see if anyone was there. I couldn't stay because I had to go vote, and since I do not have direct communication with you I couldn't warn you off. This won't happen again. My schedule is now set at me getting off by 6pm every Tuesday so we can start earlier. Once again I apologize for the oversight. Hope to see you there this next Tuesday.

its ok.. ill be there

Thanks. Just a reminder 6pm this Tuesday. Also Sunday at 4pm we will be hosting a tournament if we get 4 people to show. That's 4 others than me. The entry fee will be 5 can food items or $5. I will bring extra cans if someone forgets. I am still working on prizes. If we want to do actual ships then we will need a monetary entry fee along with the cans. Also, I have other stuff to show everyone on Tuesdays for the tournament season. Also in January we will be starting an X-wing league on Tuesdays, but I have to work out what we will have for an entry fee and the league final prizes. We will have weekly giveaways with some pretty cool stuff. We have 3 kits at the game shoppe so we will have enough prizes for everyone. Please promote the game to your friends. I Will be setting up a site dedicated to the Omaha/Bellevue X-Wing community. I want to see this game grow. Hope to see everyone Tuesday.

Sean

Just a reminder: Sunday @ 4pm X-wing Tournament. 100 pts. Entry fee 5 can food items. If you have any friends interested, tell them about it. I will demo the game also. Make sure you have 100 pts. and a basic box. Hope to see you there.

Sean

I would like to thank everyone who came out to Charity Con at the Game Shoppe in Bellevue. We had a great turnout for the tournament. We had 7 players who participated.

I would Like to congratulate Chris Brown who won the tournament with 15 points and had 3 complete kills in the tournament. I would also like to congratulate Brendon Franz for coming in second with 10 points.

This was a great start to our tournaments at the shop. Next up is the Kessel Run December 16th. Times will be added at a later date.

Once again I will be at the shop every Tuesday at 6pm unless otherwise noted via email. Happy hunting!

Sean

Thanks Sean! What a fun time that was. Everyone had a good time win or lose which was what it was all about. One of these days i'm going to wear a path in that carpet from all the pacing. Man was I nervous. Looking forward to the Kessel Run next month for sure.

-Chris

Chris, Congrats again. Yeah you will. You did a great job. Kessel Run will be incredible. If your luck holds out you may have a falcon in your hands. I wish I could play for it, but such is the life of the TO. Lol. See you Tuesday.

Tonight at The Game Shoppe in Bellevue 6pm until 9(ish) - Bring your own if you have them, otherwise we will have all you'll need to suppliment what's missing from your squad.

What time are you running your KRT? Some friends of mine in Lincoln are planning on going, and if the Ames tourney is a different day, i might bring some people with me from Des Moines.

The KRE will be Saturday December 15th at 2pm. Entry fee will be $10. I will have an official notice on here by Wednesday once all of the details are hashed out.

Sean

I thought I'd read that it was going to be on Sunday. Actually Saturday works out better for road-trippin', but I think the Ames one is going to be the same day. Oh well, have fun! :)

Yeah It was changed to Saturday. Good luck if I don't see you here.

Our Ames player convinced the Ames Mayhem to have theirs on Sunday so we could go to your tourney. Sean, would you play if I offered to be a second TO for you?

I talked to Norm last night about that. I think I am just going to concentrate on TO since this is the first true tournament for the store. That way I can focus on running and seeding along with judging. You can still help with rule issues if I am busy. That would be very helpful. Thank you for the offer though. I really am not worried about the ships right now. I have 4 Falcon's, 2 Slave 1's, and 4 each of the other ships on pre-order. I am also not accepting the 2 ships that I would get for running the tournament. We will give them away as drawing prizes after the top 4 picks their ships. Cannot wait till the 15th. Going to be a fun day.

Sean

Just bumping this to the top. As usual, The Game Shoppe in Bellevue every Tuesday night starting at 6pm. There are several of us that play so come on out and have some fun with us. Leagues are starting soon with prizes being awarded.

Depending on the roster, you can see a few of the winning ships from the Kessel Run Tourney such as Slave I or my coveted Falcon!!!

Anyone interested in playing anywhere else in town? Bellevue is a bit of a drive for those of us in NW Omaha.

I support this 110%. I've bugged the other FLGS in town and while many of them say X-Wing is a cool game, they just don't have enough demand or room on the schedule to dedicate a night.. I, too, live in NW Omaha and would love to have a more local group.

We have two players coming from Lincoln each week who have been joining us nearly since the League started up. We've got about 4 or more games going every tuesday night and would totally love to have a couple more from NW Omaha if you guys wanted to join.

Has there been any word on a Wave 2 release tourney? If it's on a weekend, we might be able to come down for it.
