Any news on when it will be back in stock?

By _Deebs_, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

Has anyone heard any news on when the second print run will be arriving?

The game is out of stock almost everywhere (at least in Sweden) and I'm trying to get my friends into this game. I'm kind of reluctant to introduce it right now because if they get hooked they might lose interest again before they can't purchase their own copy.

Lots of online stores still have stock. Nothing announced from FFG yet as for the second printing. You can keep track of stuff like that under Upcoming at the top of the site, just select living card games to narrow down the results. All it shows right now is What Lies Ahead is at the printer currently for Netrunner.

My hunch is that we won't see a reprint until very late this year or sometime early next year.

This time of year, printers and manufacturers get really slammed with orders for the holiday season, and are often booked well in advance. Maybe FFG has connections or options that will let them get more stuff printed and then shipped soon, but I think it's more likely that we'll see more copies available in January.

I bought two Core Sets when it first hit the shelves in Toronto. I remembered from playing Lord of the Rings that two seemed pretty necessary to have a good card mix for the tougher quests, so I figured 2 Netrunner sets would hold me for solid deck building once we got finished with the basic starter identity cards with the neutrals.

Apparently, this is the season for FFG; I had a similar thing happen with X-Wing around town. You can find the odd Core Set, but the expansion ships just sell right out as soon as they come in.

The release of two hyped games has really cleaned out the inventory. I'd shop outside your country if you have to.

Amazon has it in stock at the time of writing.

Foyles (UK) might still have it, and their price is surprisingly nice. Haven't checked their shipping to Scandinavia yet, but the worst I've seen for a big box still keeps it within reason. I see it sold out from all the good online stores nearer to here. But the ULGS has it in store. Too bad they have no clue about how important it is to keep a current website with a working search engine and a list of money makers on the front page. I'm talking about you, Outland. You suck.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. The price+shipping to Sweden really makes it not worth it. I guess we'll have to wait and hope that it doesn't take FFG too long to get some more core sets out.
