i know on the faq their is a chart but to me isnt that clear and wanna be hundred percent sure doing everything right. like im not sure if all charactor abilites have to be used in certain stages of each stage or whenever? same with events. and does someone have to trigger their actions first. if someone could explain their chart on the faq better thatd be great.

Do you have any examples that may be confusing? Your question can have a lot of answers and I think specific answers to specific questions will help clear up a lot of the confusion with anything else you are confused about.

well not exactly sure but like guess when relooking during challange phase is alot of times for player actions and think getting it more sorry posted to soon. guess one thing still though ser ilyn payne his marshalling action can you do that after/during other players marshalling phase. and like orphan of the greenblood could u use that before oppent makes challenges….think understanding it right just gotta make sure playing right ha

I'm having a very hard time understanding your posts here. The lack of punctuation and the broken English makes it hard to zero in on what you are asking. So forgive me if I'm not answering anything resembling your question here.

However, you seem to be asking how Player Actions work. Player actions are any effect (on any card) that starts with a phase name or the words "Any Phase." Players take turns, starting with the first player, using such effects in the "player action" windows of the flow chart. You don't move on to the next window on the flow chart until everyone has had a chance to use all the effects they want.

So yes, since Ilyn Payne is a "Marshaling" action, you can use his effect in any "player action" window in the Marshalling phase - even if you are not the active player. Similarly, since Orphan of the Greenblood is a "Challenges" action, you can use its effect in the "player action" window before the first "initiate challenge" framework action window.
