Hey guys can someone just help me with the ruling of god of metal.

What happens when:

1) Both players have no momentum

or

2) When one player has momentum

because the second part of the ability is dependant on the first part being fulfilled by both players, if one player doesn't meet the requirements, then nothing will happen after the first part.
