Anybody in the UK (preferably London area) interested in setting up some games?

Just bought the game and keep to play some more.

I live in Croydon, South London.

There is a heroes and legends store we could play at. interested?

Yeah, Croydon coukd work - I work in Reigate so not far from there. Didnt know there was a Heroes and Legends there, actualy.

I'm based in East London, up for a meet. Any of us have any more than the basic core pack? Loving the game, wouldn't mind a couple more models, but not sure what though.

Yep, Heroes & Legends opened in Croydon 2 weeks ago. Late night games on Fridays, Wednesdays and Mondays I think. They are going to do a grand store opening on Saturday 10th November and they will be doing a huge x-wing participation event I believe; they are talking of doing a death star run! I would check them out on facebook for regular updates.

As well as playing at the store I am paying one of my art students (I am a head of 6th) to paint up a 4' by 4' board I have bought from the DT department and hope to be able to play games round the house whenever - live in purley (southern tip of Croydon). AS a father with 3 kids this gives me a bit more flexibility in regards to when I can play.

Got 2 core packs, 2 Tie Advanced, an additional Tie, an additional x-wing and a Y-wing. I would recommend you buy all of the different expansion packs as you gain new cards to use. I have not played enough games yet to work out what are the best set-ups, that will only come with games.

So, anyone up for some space combat?

Hi I am Stuart and I live in South Norwood. I would like to meet some people who like to play X-Wing Miniatures Game. I have just recently brought the starter box. But would like to learn how to play the game with like minded people. I live not very far from East Croydon.

I'm working at London Bridge and living in Vauxhall. So heading to Croydon for a game isn't impossible. Could be there with 2x Core set + 4 Int + 5 Tie + YT-1300 + Firesprsay + Shuttle + 2x Hawk + 3x X/B/Y/A-Wing + 2x Adv + 3x Bomber without much issue... Might have to buy a bigger box first though, as currently stored in 3 separate cases!

Edit: I found the Central London Wargames Club ( http://www.clwc.org.uk ) who meet mondays and thursdays near Euston station, in a pub! If anyone fancies meeting up there for a game give me a shout!

I know for Netrunner they have a group that meets in the Cafe Nero in Borough Market. Problem with a pub is needing a decent sized table which is pretty flat...

Yeah any of those is fine by me! The CLWC play a lot of Epic 40k and Ancients so there must be tables to play on. If anything we need less space than them!

We're going to be at CLWC (ie Escape Plan pub near Euston) Thursday evening around 7ish. If anyone wants to drop in and play a game or two - you are more than welcome to join us. Initially we'll likely be playing 55 point squads moving on to 100 later on, so bring some pre-planned squads at those values.

Hello All would like to let everyone know about a club that I belong too called Tanelorn Wargames Club.We meet on Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 6pm.We don't just play X-wing.I am trying to arrange for the 9th February as a get together for all pilots who want to attend.

I know the posts about Heroes and Legends (croydon) are over a year old now, but if there is anyone who would still be up for a game there on Wednesday or Friday nights, ive just started playing X-Wing and would be keen to meet more players.
