Any organized play taking place in the Triangle?
Raleigh, NC players
I play over at Game Theory on Glenwood, and they sold out of their initial shipment in a few days, and just got another 6 or so starter sets in, so hopefully they'll be enough interested players that we can organize stuff there. I'll keep an eye out on their MeetUp page to see if anything pops up. If you hear of anything else, let me know since that's pretty much the only place I game as since it's the closest to me (I'm right on the VA/NC border about an hour away).

Sounds good, thanks for the response. Hopefully they will get some things started there.
In addition to Game Theory, Game Connection in Knightdale has been playing games over the past two weeks on Tuesdays (their boardgame night) and Thursdays (free play miniatures night). I don't know if GC is organizing league play.
Also, Hypermind in Burlington has named XWing its game of the month for Tuesday boardgame nights. The organizers are going to be running a league for XWing.
Anyway, I'd love to get in on approved play for XWing at GT, too.
If we could organize some of the people who have bought the game over at GT, I don't think there would be a problem for organizing something. The main issue would be deciding on a day and time. I was there Saturday night playing with a friend on one of the spare tables, but Saturday night is packed with card game players (although it's pretty quiet until about 7PM).
I live in Greenville, Nc so I would like to see organized play on a weekend if possible. I wouldn't mind the drive but its kind of difficult during the work week. We have 2 gaming stores in Greenville but neither seem very supportive of starting any organized play events. I would love to be involved in some sort of organized play and have 2 to 4 others who might be able to join me.
Hopefully we see something soon!
For Game Theory, it'll probably just be a matter of talking to the staff and seeing if we can get it added to their Meet Up page. Other than the WoWTCG games in the early afternoon, which take up less than 1/4 of the gaming space, most Saturdays seem like it would be easily doable until the place gets flooded by Yugioh players at 7. Sundays seem a little tougher since I believe that's Warhammer 40K day.
If anything, we could organize a time to show up since Saturday afternoons are listed as "open gaming" there, and once they see enough people are playing to support it they'll add it as an event.
I'm in the Fayetteville/ Ft. Bragg area sorry
I'm planning on being at Game Theory Saturday night and I'll have all my X-wing stuff if anyone wants to play. Depending on how many interested people we have there I'll be bouncing between it and Netrunner.
How was the turnout on Saturday night? I want to drive out to Raleigh but my work schedule has been exceptionally busy lately. I'm hoping to find some free time come November.
Keep me informed on any events in NC! Thanks
So has the Game Theory X-Wing crowd decided on day/time to get together to play?

Sorry for the double post.
I am really interested in both X-Wing and Netrunner too, so I would love to meet up with you some time at Game Theory.
