Comments and Reviews on RPGgeek.com

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I encourage all of you to go to rpgGeek.com and do comments, reviews and discussions.

After you register/login, the way to rate each of the products (and make a comment is to do this):

1. At the bottom of the product page, you click the + "Add a copy to your collection"

2. Where it says "rating n/a", click on that and type in your rating on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the greatest)

3. Where it says "Comment" you click and type in any thoughts on the product.

This commenting helps improve "the Hotness" of a product on RPGGeek, which improves discussion on it as well.

I'm currently posting about each of the products that I own as well as LIBER FANATICA and a few other things.

I highly recommend that you click "subscribe" to the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd edition. You'll note that it's currently ranked 37th. If you go there and rank it UP (put a higher score) and more people post there, it will rank HIGHER, which is a good thing for all of us.

~ no, ffg doesn't post there either ;)

Also, if you guys are interested in including more LINKS for the game back to the news and forum archives here on the FFG forums, that would be helpful too.

There is also a place to UPLOAD files (such as your house rules..without any graphics that may be copyright protected of course).

I've at least given all the WFRP stuff I own ratings. I'll probably go back and post small reviews gradually when I have the time to do it. Good initiative, the game needs more supporters (at other places than this forum).

DONE !

Thanks for suggesting this. I have done it, will be rating Arkham Horror and other things. I'm a lazy bones and need poke sometimes, I've been using boardgamegeek for several years for reviews and info and really should "give back".

Rated it 8.5, subtracting a bit for the lack of clarity in some rules in core set, some components being less than idea in format etc., but otherwise cat's pajamas.

You guys should notice how fast the "hotness" took WFRP up to #2 (right behind star wars).

oh..and /really/, only 6 of you ranked it this month? Including one "2" from a Grudgekeeper? Get a move on folks!

I add that if anyone is like me, "the one in group who is GM and checks ffg site etc." get the others to visit boardgamegeek and rate it too. It shouldn't just be "one person per table of 3-6" that rates the game!

Added comments and possibly slightly generous ratings. trying to work out how to rank it now.

if by "how to rank" you mean "how do you give score", when logged in, on game page, at bottom is section with entries for comments etc. and a starting NA for score, clicking on them allows you to give entries. Higher # means better and you have give fractionals like 8.5.

You might want to be careful to rank the game overall vs core set (or both) as people looking for reviews might end up at either.

I see the Core Set has shot up to #2 in the hotness and has usurped Star Wars-FFG. For some reason "Grimm" RPG seems to be getting a bit more discussion right now.

Keep rating and commenting :)

I got two in my gaming group to rate/comment the game and the core set yesterday. Going to try to get them to rate some more products.

I'll also try to get the other two in my gaming group to rate/comment on the game.
