well, from experience (WFRP) for example - no

(1) Go look at their catalog of games. How many full-time staff, let alone designers, do you think they have? I don't think FFG is a money making juggernaut like Microsoft, and they aren't likely to get consulting fees for answering questions. [Does anyone know what their symbol is on NASDAQ? ]
(2) Look at some of the acrimonious debates here or on BGG. IMO, participating in the forums would be even worse PR. The forums are for fans to help one another, for the most part, and answers from FFG are either 1:1 or via FAQ. Not to say they can't post on the forums, but it's probably officially discouraged or carefully screened.
I can't say I'm happy with the situation -- I would like answers too -- but the realist in me doesn't expect things to change.
There is no use to enter in this debate.
It makes me angry when fan searches excuses for the enterprise they defend.
They could come sometimes and answer. They don't want to, they assume, and I don't care any much.

They could. They have (so far) decided not to, for any number reasons. The two above are pure speculation on my part. Maybe they hate gamers -- they publish all of those games just to include problems in the rules, and sit back in their HQ laughing hysterically at the forums. Maybe they are posting to the forums as trolls, just to stir things up so they can laugh even harder.
If you don't care, why are you here and why are you angry?

One interpretation of this is that melee attacks normally require 0 range but against stealthy need 3 range.
The other is that melee attacks never check range (according to Step 3 of the attack sequence) so are immune to Stealthy.
The rules are ambiguous as to which interpretation is correct.
Any official answer as to which way to play?
Well, I was on the wrong side of this one it seems. Zero'vians win.

Hi Triu,
The stealthy ability requires melee attacks to roll at least 3 range to hit. Melee attacks usually require 0 range (even with Reach), so 3 is all the range the attack would need.

I'm angry cause sometimes it's makes me fell that we gamers aren"t any much than money bags.
Yeah, an official answer. So, I was right after all : it's really 3 for melee attacks.
thank you. point for me
