At first I thought I clearly understood this, but the examples in the rulebook are contradictory…
Page 7 seems to clearly show that each server needs to be blocked by its own ICE. The Archives, R&D, HQ, and EACH Remote Server. If I have 2 remote servers it takes two pieces of ICE to stop a run against them. The rules say (page 13) "A remote server can have ony one agenda or asset installed at a time." (page 6) There is no limit to the number of remote servers the Corp can have at any given time" "Installed ice is always dedicated to a particular server and placed in front of that server." That seems clear.
However, the examples on page 17 and 19 show two cards protected by the same row of ice. Why is that? Are those example wrong or just confusing?
