First E Commit: If this attack deals damage, youre next attack this turn gets +X damage. X equals your vitality divided by your character's hand size (rounded up).
so when it refers to vitality does it mean youre currant vitaliy divided by youre hand size e.g a 29 health character has lost five vitality so it would be 24 divided by 6.
or is it the starting vitality so 29 divided by 6 the whole time.

The first option. If you start on 29 vitality but get hit for 5 damage, your vitality is 24, so 24/6. Your max vitality is still 29, but your vitality at the time you use the ability would be 24. If it said "X equals your maximum vitality divided by....", then it would be the second option.
