Yes, I know it's been mentioned before - several times - but I feel there is a need to reiterate and push the point until something happens. I do so hate to nag thus but it's the only way I can think of to get what I sorely need.

Yes, there are stickers for conventional dice (luckily, I have dice to spare for re-tasking, some do not), which if you have sausage fingers like I do you might have a real epic time applying. Also, I have players who are concerned with what the stickers will do to the balance of the dice and thus will they "weight" the dice (And before I am inundated with comments about what's wrong with my players, I would like to say that while they have a small point, they do have a point, and even if they didn't have a point, any wise Game Official knows not to muck about with Dice Religions for this is one of the ways to an empty table).

I guess the other part of my growing puzzlement and frustration is the lack of understanding as to how much more difficult it could possibly be to adapt the extremely well made Dice Roller to a Windows platform. Said puzzlement and frustration is increased when I hear rumors that it could take up to a year more for the Beta to progress from its current stage to a final product. Even if it only takes six months, that's six months waiting for quality physical dice or a Dice Roller for Computers. We need this guys.

I know some of you have worked on DR's of your own and I am sure they're smashing, but in the end, I would like the company who decided that we needed an entire new type of dice to make them available and practical . Particularly if they want us to do their play testing for them, yeh?

I certainly would not complain if a Windows version eventually appeared.

Well, this is what makes no sense to me. I mean, yes, it's likely that smartphones will be more portable, but people bring their laptops to game all the time. Indeed they're more likely to bring a laptop than a smartphone at this stage of things. And while I'd be the first to admit not knowing the precise differences between Windows and Smartphone OS's, how much more complicated can the former be? I think they really need to find a way to make this happen. Either that or come out with some actual, physical dice, not just stickers.

Run Android on your computer. I've done that to test apps out without risking them on my actual phone. Works great.

No, I'm not suggesting you replace your OS. Android can be run "virtualized" on top of your computer's current OS.

Okay, well, never one to wait on others, I tried setting that up myself. I got a program called Bluestacks and tried to do it that way, but I ran into a problem because apparently, the Dice Roller App won't install to a PC or any other "unsupported device." Seems to have something to do with the Google Play Store striking down any attempt to purchase an app when you don't have a "recognized device" connected. Any ideas on how I work around that?
