Hello everyone, I'd like to get a regular league together in sunny Orlando, post if you're in this area.

Davenport, but my schedule is all wonky so my gaming availability is limited at best.

Today we were at Paladin Tech and Games over in Avalon Park. There's a few other stores in town, once we get more people we'll figure out a regular meeting place.

No personal preferences here, but I'm up for a good scrap.

We had four people playing over at Paladin this last Sunday, looks like there will be a tournament over at Sci-Fi City in a few weeks.

I'm in Orlando (close to Paladin) and would like to try this game out. When is the next time there will be a group of people playing and where?

I generally show up on Sundays and play with my roommate, but beyond that there's no set schedule.

Sci-Fi City has plenty of tables for open gaming, so even if you didn't have a game organized, chances are good you could bring enough ships for two players and get an impromptu game going with someone curious to try it out.

I was at the tournament on Sunday, and there wasn't quite enough of a turn-out to run a full tournament, but we did run a 2-on-2 skirmish that was a lot of fun. And I know the plan is to try do monthly tournaments/game days going forward.

I actually live in Avalon itself. Tomorrow at Paladin sometime around 1 is the plan, I've run into others playing on Sundays before. My roommate should be there as well, so the more the merrier.

Hmm, avalon is a bit far for me. I was hoping there were other people farther west of the city like myself. (Preferrably west of Disney).

They aren't a lot of gaming stores around here either =(

Joshuahyaong, I am in the Davenport area as well. You are right few gaming stores in our are, but I usually head down 27 to Clermont and go to Heroes Landing. They are a comic shop and they have some gaming but they are very small, so no dedicated gaming areas. Next Monday they are doing a demo night for X-Wing, and I am going to go get some games in.

Angrymojo and I played tonight; he was Imperial (6 Named TIEs) to my Imperial (3 Named TIEs + 4 Academy Pilots). We called the game before the finish because it was running late. I had destroyed 4 of his ships and he only managed to land 2 hits total on mine.

Part of it was that I had some good rolls to his bad rolls and destroyed a couple of his ships really early. Because of that, I had a major numbers advantage and it snowballed from there.
