Universal Fighting System is celebrating its third anniversary. The multi-property CCG has experienced three exciting years of battling, community building, and hardcore competition in order to provide gamers the first healthy way to settle the age old dispute: who would win in a knock down no holds barred brawl, character X or character Y? With a stable of 156 different legendary fighting game characters from Street Fighter, Soul Calibur 3, Darkstalkers, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and the recent addition of Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur 4, no game in the world can provide a more complete answer to this question.

Universal Fighting System was kick started with a returnable product retail promotion that allowed shop owners to carry the product with no risk. This promotion proved very successful, creating the foundation that allowed UFS to flourish over the past three years. I just saw all this is absolutely crazy getting all that for free I really hope we can expand the player base for this. I am going to talk to my store owners about this tomarrow awesome to have before the SCC.

Yeah, what Scuba said. I definitely have to give my scout/store owner a heads up and information/details. We've gotten about 3 new players over the past year and a half, hopefully this will set it up for some more.

So can we as scouts sign up for this if our store owners are busy and I guess list the events and the address for the events?

A question and a snarky comment. The question first : If our scout didn't sign up (due to not knowing about these events) for March already, is it now too late to do so?

And the snarky comment is this : That's 8 more promo packs we're not gonna get! Whee doggies!

I really hope this applies to the UK too, as if it does, I'll be letting my shop know about it as soon as possible

We;ve been picking up new players really well and really quickly, so hopefully this will drive the game forward even more

I just got off the phone with my store owner, and he is pretty pumped about this. We weren't sure who signs up for this, but I think he is checking with his distributer first thing monday.

Promos for Swindon would be fantastic, i just wish we had more notice because this may be hard to swing with our regionals and the pre-releases in March. Oh well, at least its all very interesting!!!

okay... I'm really curious here...

what exactly is FFG going to do with all of the decks that would be sent to them? burn them? recycle them? battle each deck from the same game in a brutal deathmatch against one another?

i showed this to my store owner earlier and his face lit up with joy for the first time in AGES, he seems re-invigorated into the game now, now to start the PAINFULL process of hunting down Yu-Gi's to pull away from the hemmoraging YGO league in my area and invite them to learn UFS. Dang just like SG i REALLY wish i would have held onto my Raw Deal stuff... had MANY mean decks too... and i dont have any other stuff to turn in... *gets bright idea* hehehe...
