After 2 cross country drives and numerous Phish tours…I can assure everyone that every Target in the country is pretty much the same. The larger ones have a huge section of collectible games and trading cards by the registers, a game board isle in the toy section game and an endcap of pokemon/MtG usually across or near the boardgames. Smaller Targets have at least the boardgame section with a small TCG section by the boardgames or at the registers.

Also the non-SKU number you all are seeing from Target is called a DCPI# and can be used at the "price checker scanners" or a Target employee can look them up on their handhelds to check stock on shelves AND in cartons in the back not shelved yet. I'm not sure but I must assume the web site will not update stock until it is shelved. So some of you may have luck checking that dcli# at stores that have not yet shown stock.

According to Miniatures Market they won't have the items in until "later this week." Guess I'm in this one for the long haul…

Yep those of us that ordered from MM might not have the game until next week.

MM had the best price I've seen and free shipping if you buy $100+. But apparently a slightly longer delivery time. I'll live.

Even if MM gets the stuff today, it won't get to my house for another week. So patience is in order. At least it's no longer in the air whether or not it'll be released this month or not.

MM is still one of the best OLGS's out there. Too good maybe, I've dropped a couple grand there in the last 2 1/2 years. Full 100 pt. fleets with customization options for both Rebel and Imperial sides costing a hair over $100 is probably the best deal I could have found. Just slow on this preorder. Last time I preordered a FFG game from them they were only 1 day behind CSI's shipping for the same game. I have other games to play and a minis painting project I can finish this weekend so not having X-Wing really isn't going to kill me.

Target in Knoxville TN has the starter set. Got it yesterday, now waiting on the preordered stuff to ship from Sci Fi City and for my kids to grow up so I will have someone to play against.

Uk supplier just sent out a message saying it wont be available until "the 27th at the EARLIEST". Cant believe its already in sweden (which is past the uk on a plane or boat) but not here for at least 2 weeks that makes it been over 5 months since I preordered

checked two Target stores today and the shelf was empty, but the label for Xwing was on the shelf. According to Target.com there is one store in CT that shows it in stock, but I couldn't get there today.

Wayland Games, one of the major UK on line stores has published on Facebook that they are expecting it just after the 24th! This is the first FFG game I've bought, are their releases always like this?

My FLGS had it in stock today.

Think I should take a break from looking on these forums daily. its becoming too painful to see that everyone else is getting their hands on it, when the UK distributor has just pushed the date back to the 27th

I work in logistics so a week delay means either: the boat has encountered rough seas (unlikely, as the original time estimated would imply that its being shipped by air, as does the fact that it has already hit sweden) or this is just a logistics/stock management cock up by ffg (they should clearly employ me to manage their logistics!)

It seems that the UK is always the last to recieve things for no discernable reason!

I would strike them down…but I fear they would become more powerful than I can possibly imagine…

Coolstuffinc has it in stock now. And looks like they're prepping the pre-orders for shipping, my order has changed from Pre-order to In Que.
