Is the UK going to see anymore releases ?

By Decaramas, in Tannhauser

Well after the long wait it seems that Novgorod has been released and so has Gorgei, but nothing has come out in the UK. Nor is anything arriving next week. Is FFG still distributing this game to the UK. I have waited patiently like the rest of you guys and am not giving up on the game just need to know if i need to import it.

Would really appreciate any news.

Thanks

Check this weblink. Esdevium usually distribute the game in the UK. I normally see things that have been released in the USA appear 2-3 weeks later under the new releases section.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion although I check that site every Friday at 6pm :-), Your right on the timings but i would have thought we would be seeing it this week.

I guess i have waited this long I will have to wait a while longer.

I hope it's released soon in the UK - I'm sorely tempted to get the French Version but I've waited this long for it I'll give it till about Easter before I go down the French route. I've already got the French version of Daedalus and Field Ops - Tannbunker has got most of the rules and stuff translated.

Yep I'm another who checks the Esdevium site regularly. Still no news , so thats at least two more weeks before we can get our hands on Novgorod or the figures.

Esdevium usually give a weeks notice of new arrivals and their latest news makes no mention of anything available from 27/02/09 so we can only hope they'll be annoucing availability for/from 05/03/09. But I'm not holding my breath !!

Any other new releases - the figures previewed at Cannes and mentioned in another thread spring to mind - I'll be buying from France , and I'll wait for the Tannbunker crew to translate the booklets.

Now rameriez is going to be out in the U.S. and still no new releases in the UK, I usually dont get annoyed at this sort of thing, but if you set yourself up as an international company it means treating all your terroitories with the same respect. This game is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth and my group, just dont want to invest time in something they dont know will be supported anymore.

Not that there is anyone here to listen to me..or reply to the emails i sent asking if this game was still supported in the UK.

Yep! like you I'm desperate for a UK release!

What gives? 'Age of Conan' is available in my FLGS but not in th US!!?

Could anyone/someone please explain?

Maybe the shipment is just stuck in Customs? It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

The good news: Esdevium have Operation Novgorad and Gorgei on the release sheet for next week.

The bad: Gorgei is £9.99; Novgorod is £47.99. Has it just been too long since I bought something from FFG?

Poor exchange rates and higher cost of ink.

Blame the Bankers!

At last !

it is sitting at Home, and while the price hike is huge, it was soon forgotten once i opened the box, the Map is fantastic and these are by far the best figures they have for this game to date (IMHO). I like the fact that the rules book has a little of everything, new modes, variants, scenarios etc.

All in, i am a very happy bunny

I waited, and waited and waited. then saw the price and have stopped waiting.

I really cannot justify nearly £50 for an expansion.

Yes you can. I did have a quick intake of breath when I saw the price tag. But I then thought sod it I've been waiting so long for it I took the plunge.

You won't regret it. The quality just oozes. It's almost a shame to punch the tokens. If it were cheaper I would get a second but that is just me being greedy.

If you try eBay I'm sure I saw you can get it for nearer to £40. I paid £45 all in for mine from Infinity Games - they are my game souce of choice so I stuck with them but like I said I'm sure there is a cheaper source out there.

The price tag of £10 for the Gorgei figure is lot harder to swallow but I bit that bullet as well. One figure for £10 or 7 figures , an extra board etc for £45 it's a no brainer. Though I think I'll be going for the French versions of the next round of figures and will have to wait and see if I go for the English language versions.

We can always buy the french (original) version form ToY and dl tranlations - the only french written text is in the book so it doesn't affect the game.

Be thankful your not down hear in OZ, we just got Gregori in the same shipment as Novgroad that came in on tuesday and took till (Late) today (Saterday) to be unpacked, I was told that I was SOL on seeing Remeries until after the Con at the start of next month, the guy who was giveing me Death Stares as I paied for Novgroad and Gregori was told the same thing on the Restock of anything Tannhauser.
