The entry for the Optical Mechadendrite says: "The pict-devices mounted on the mechadendrite allow the user to examine surfaces at a microscopic level and may be used as a telescopic sight." .

Now, the wording here is confusing me a little bit. I'm not entirely sure of this is a bad choice of words, lack of capitalization, or entirely intended.

By RAW, it does say that it can be used as a telescopic sight, which is a very real item in the game - a Telescopic Sight allows you to ignore penalties for Long or Extreme range as long as you take a Full Action to Aim. But it does lack the regular capitalization. It says "telescopic sight" instead of "Telescopic Sight". Yes, I'm that nit-picky today.

It could be, by another interpretation, that the RAI means to say that the Optical Mechadendrite can be used as some kind of magnoculars, or simply, well, telescopic sight - just not the weapon upgrade.

Edit: Actually, nevermind. The entry on Cybernetic Senses uses the exact same terminology and capitalization, even linking/referencing the Telescopic Sight. I guess that settles it.
