Questions on Dream Blossoms

By Acradius, in UFS Rules Q & A

A couple things. The attack bit of Dream Blossoms is pretty simple (just a throw). But it's a dual card, attack/action. The text of the action reads: "R: After you play a card, gain X vitality. X equals double the played card's difficulty."

Now, the biggest question on my mind is this: does that mean the printe d difficulty, or does that mean the control check you had to make to play it? As an example, if I play a 3 difficulty card after having two others in the card pool, then play Dream Blossoms, do I gain back six or ten vitality?

The second question has probably been addressed before, but I can't find where at the moment. Can the Gorgeous Team (which brings back non-attack cards from the discard pile) bring back Dream Blossoms? Since it's both an attack and an action, I would think not, but I wanted to ask just to be sure.

One more (rhetorical) question on dream blossom

Why is it the ONLY SNK03 card to have a 3-point watermark?

I understand printing a handful of cards with an additional watermark (chaos flare and the few others from DS01) so that they last a lil longer.

But was Dream Blossom's short stay intentional or printing mistake? Will it be one of the four cards to be reprinted? (this would just be LOL)

1- It's the printed difficulty, not the printed plus progressive. Progressive difficulty is only counted when playing a card. Any other reference on difficulty of a card is always PRINTED DIFFICULTY.

2- You are right, it cannot as it is both an action AND attack.

Smazzurco: We don't really know, but it's been stated to play it as printed, so it's block 2 and will rotate out soon. No official announcement to reprint/errata this card has been made.

kerstamp for Cass :]

Thanks folks. That ought to slow down my friend's Sakura deck, at least a little bit.
