A bunch of questions with a bunch of the Dragon Adventure cards:

By Halfling, in Talisman Rules Questions

Just want some clarification on a few of these.

Enemy Dragons

1. Amber Dragon:

Before you engage the Dragon in battle, it makes a breath attack; roll 1 die. If the result is equal to or higher than your Strength you must miss your next turn. It will remain here until it is killed.

Do i lose a life as well or just lose a turn if he successfully hits me with his breath attack?

2. Carrion Drake

If you are defeated, you do not lose a life. Instead, you must discard all of your trophies. It will remain here until it is killed.

If i have no trophies do i lose a life or does nothing happen?

3. Covetous Dragon

If you are defeated, you do not lose a life. Instead, you must place one of your Objects on this card. If you kill the Dragon, you may take any Objects on this card then discard the rest. The Objects do not count towards the number of cards on this space. It will remain here until it is killed.

If i have no objects do i lose a life or does nothing happen?

4. Desert Drake

It will remain here until it is killed. If you are defeated, in addition to losing 1 life, the Dragon drops you in the Desert space of your choice.

If i lose and get dropped in the desert do i lose an additional life or do i not encounter the desert space i get dropped on?

5. Gold Dragon

If you are defeated, you do not lose a life. Instead, you must place all of your gold on this card. If you kill the Dragon, you may take any gold on this card then discard the rest. It will remain here until it is killed.

If I have no gold do i lose a life or does nothing happen?

6. Green Dragon

If you are defeated, you do not lose a life. Instead, you must place all of your Spells on this card faceup. If you kill the Dragon, you may take any Spells on this card, if your Craft allows, then discard the rest. The Spells do not count towards the number of cards on this space. It will remain here until it is killed.

Same question, only if i have no spells, what happens?

7. Radiant Dragon

Before you engage the Dragon in psychic combat, it makes a breath attack; roll 1 die. If the result is equal to or higher than your Craft, you must discard all of your fate. It will remain here until it is killed.

If i have no fate, does nothing happen?

8. Red Dragon

If you are defeated, you do not lose a life. Instead, you must place 1 of your Followers on this card. If you kill the Dragon, you may take any Followers on this card then discard the rest. The Followers do not count towards the number of cards on this space. It will remain here until it is killed.

What happens if you have no followers?

9. Slumbering Dragon

Place a sleep token on the Dragon when revealed. It will remain here until it is killed.

If i lose to the dragon does he fall back to sleep? and also do i decrease his craft (which is 9) by three?

Characters

1. Conjurer

You may conjure whenever you encounter a space with instructions to draw one or more Adventure Cards. If the space does not already have any Adventure Cards, you may move a faceup Adventure Card in the same Region to your space. You may only do this once per round.

So if im reading this right, is it only in spaces like the ruins or any place else where you can draw more than one adventure card, you can use this? or is that not right?

Alt Endings

1. Domain of Dragons

Whenever a character is instructed to draw a dragon token, he suffers the Dragon Rage of the Dragon King instea d.

So does this mean at the start of a characters turn he must suffer the dragon rage since you have to draw a dragon token at the beginning of each turn?

Objects

1. Dragonfire Skull

If you engage a character or creature in battle or psychic combat, you may discard the Skull after you make your attack roll to automatically win the battle or psychic combat regardless of your attack score.

Can you use this object on the dragon king, eagle king, or any other ending boss?

Strangers

1. St. George

You may move St. George to any space with a Dragon Card. You must then choose 1 Dragon Card on that space and discard it.

I assume if there are no dragons on the boards you must discard him? Also can you move him to any region or just the same region? If the Dragon king is revealed to be the ending, can you have him take him out?

No, you cannot use St. George against the Dragon King (only cards with the keyword "Enemy Dragon")!

Elliott.

I'm with Elliott on every answer except the last concerning St George. I interpret Dragon cards to any cards drawn from one of the three dragon lords deck, not just enemy dragon cards.

The card as written allows St. George to discard any Dragon Card. The definition of a Dragon Card is any card from one of the three Draconic Lord decks or any Enemy Dragon Card from the Adventure, Dungeon, or Highland deck (or City deck soon).

However we prefer to use a house rule which only allows St. George to discard actual "Dragons" regardless of what deck they actually come from!
