Should help those looking for a win for the Mats.

I din't realise he was going o be a mercenary. Now Wolf has a friend you could introduce them as a 4th faction/sub plot team. Will have to see how powerful he is.

he sounds powerful enough i cant wait to try and shoot two enemys at once that sounds pretty powerful

You lucky people ( in the US ) , Novgorod is still not for sale here in the UK and you've now got Gorgei up for grabs as well. The UK distributor hasn't even announced the future availability of Novgorod yet. So that means at least another two weeks without Novgorod. I'm sorely tempted to say hang the English version and go get the French version.

Why not just buy online and have it shipped over to you?

Unfortunately anything that goes over circa £15 in value get whacked with a customs & excise duty + UK carrier handling fee when it arrives in UK from the USA (due to trade nonsense between Europe & USA to my understanding). With the extra shipping cost + excise duty + UK carrier handling fee. It means you could have probably bought the game again and some. They didn't always pick up on the excise duty previously but they seem mega hot on it lately. It's just not economical in most cases and you are better off waiting if it is due to be released in the UK. Plus with the conversion slip between the £ to the $ it has reduced our purchasing power. I used to buy a lot more smaller items on E-bay from the USA. It's not worth buying from the USA in most situations now as the saving is much less than it was. I would imagine USA retailers will have noticed a slip in demand from the UK for the all the reasons above.

I admit Gorgei is a lower value purchase and I doubt would be subject to a lot of the above. The shipping cost would still mean you could have probably bought the mini twice on arrival in the UK.

I'd second that - cost on eBay from the US new $43 + $32 shipping and handling + $7 import duty on arrival + $7 handling fee = $89 total cost. Would you be willing to pay that much ? We have to wait for FFG to ship their stuff to the UK - which I'm sure is done the long way round via the Pacific/Indian Oceans then the Red Sea ( so it can get hijacked by pirates ) - so it takes at least 4-8 weeks for stuff to come out in the UK after it's release in the US

Is it any wonder we've given up importing from the US anything over $24 as it gets slapped with a 15% VAT import duy + $7 handling fee. Those lovely people in HMRC (Her Majesties Revenue and Customs) - the equivalent to the IRS and then more besides - are being a right pain at the moment . They aren't missing a thing at the moment to get the taxes rolling in to cover for the losses caused by thoose idiot bankers the world over.

Gorgei comes in under the $24 rule at $12 but most online retailers insist on sending things by express international as it is the only insured trackable service which seems to start at $28. Would you pay $40 all in for one figure ?

We're better off buying the French version - HMRC are not allowed to charge VAT a second time for things coming from the EU but they will try to charge a 5% import duty on anything over about $35 but that is a bit hit or miss and if your lucky it gets through untaxed. I guess because of liscencing agreements you can't get the English version on continental Europe ( though I stand to be corrected on this one - I would like to be corrected ) only native language versions - French , German , Spanish and Italian.

It's all a bit annoying and frustrating really that we have to wait an extra month or two for something we've all been waiting for for so long.
