so i was prowling through my extras when it hit me. Would you be able to get the effect of a "when this card is discarded by an effect" card off of monstro lvl 1?

i have 3 friends, i play sally then discard her from monstros effect, would i be able to pull a Jack from the discard pile?

By how I read Monstro lvl1 'n how I read Sally, I would have to say aye. Sally would be discarded due to Monstro's effect, therefore, Jack should return to your hand.
