Can anyone provide a link to info on World's weekend? I wasn't around last year before it was rebranded from DoIaF so I am completely ignorant on the whole deal. Is it an aGoT only weekend? Same joust/melee setup as Gencon? Any other FFG tournies going down? Any/all info anyone can provide would be great. If my party bus idea doesn't go through I gotta decide soon whether or not to try and make the trip solo.

You can find it here . Its for 7 games all together. I'm guessing they are going to have it at some offsite place, because there's no way the FFG Event Center will even hold just the AGoT players I'm guessing will show up.

Do you think they may update the FAQ again for World's like they did for GenCon? I guess they'd have to at least update the Tourney rules to allow the newest CPs to be eligible.

Agreed. We need that more info ASAP in order for some of us to work out that time off at work.

What info do you need for time off work? the date? It's November 9th - 11th. I would travel on the 8th if I were you. I'm guessing one of the events will be on Friday.

He's saying that if he wants to get the RV, he will need additional days off for the amount of time it will take to drive it all over the place.

Well it technically IS one building. They just rent out each space of the building to a different company. I don't think they have any more room in the current "space" they are renting. There was a small back room where they kept stock, maybe that's it? I still can't see them having enough room in that space alone for seven games. Granted some of those games are only drawing like six dudes, but still.

Monday the 12th is a federal holiday for Veteran's Day. I love my new job as a federal employee.

What hotel is everyone staying at? Would be great if we where all in the same area for the after parties and games.

As far as I know no DC folks have booked yet because the exact tourney dates have not been announced.
