I don't know if I have understood the rules correctly, but one of the setup tasks state that if there are 2 heroes, place a search token on the "2" slots on the quest map and so on. In some quests e.g. the interlude, where the quest map only show 3s and 4s, does this imply that no search tokens will be placed if I am playing with 2 heroes?

Quest Book isn't in front of me, but aren't there a couple of tokens labeled * ? Those are also searchable - typically for a quest item, but in the event the item is not discovered you would draw a search card.

I see. So am I right to say that the '3' and '4' will not be available for 2 heroes in interlude 1?

Hi Warheart, you are correct to not place search tokens that are labeled 3 & 4 when playing a 2 hero game. (This is true for both cases of a 1 OL and 1 player or 1 OL and 2 players)

As for the other instance that Rico brought up. Regardless of how many players you have, you'll place search tokens for all the * spots as well. This throws out a bit of random-ness to searching for specific items.
