Drawing a Lunar Event with a normal Event

By EvilEdwin, in Talisman Rules Questions

If you draw an Event you flip the time card. If you draw a Lunar Event you flip to the side it states. What happens if you draw both in one turn? Do you flip the time card for drawing an Event and then flip it again based on what the Lunar Event says? Or do you ignore the Event and just flip it to where the Lunar Event says?

Also, if you draw a card which says to draw the top x cards from the Adventure deck and choose one to keep, if you draw an event in those x cards do you still flip the time card?

Whenever a character draws one or more Events (or Lunar Events) during his turn, before he encounters any cards, he must flip the Time Card over to the other side (or to the side specified by a Lunar Event).

Therefore if you draw an Event and a Lunar Event at the same time, you flip the time card to the side specified by the Lunar Event (the Event does not flip the Time Card). You then encounter the cards in the order they were drawn. The Lunar Event is placed next to the Time Card and the Event is either discarded after being resolved or placed faceup on the space if it remains in effect.

You do not flip the Time Card when you draw the top x cards from the Adventure deck and choose one to keep, as the other cards are not encountered and must be discarded!

Then what happens if you draw 2 or more lunarevents where one tells you to flip the timecard to day and the other/others to night?

Encounter them in the order you drew them, and flipping the timecard several times, or just encounter the first one and discard the rest?

In the case of drawing two or more Lunar Events, you encounter them in the order they are drawn.

Each Lunar Event flips the Time Card, to determine whether or not two or more Lunar Events remain in effect at the same time.

'Trumped' Lunar Events are discarded!

Elliott.

Ps. If two or more normal Events are drawn together, the Time Card only flips once and then the Events are encountered in the order they are drawn.
