I placed my order on Wednesday, opted for the 30.00 in shipping to get it in three days, and now three days later I have no shipping notification and no books. I did not realize this when I ordered. Now I play the waiting game.

My real worry is that only things got shipped before they left for Celebration on Wednesday. So the rest of us have to wait until Monday at the earliest. Granted, lots of people seem to get the ship notification late at night, so maybe it's still coming!

my copy has apparently been sitting in the international depot for 3 days ready to go, unless it doesn't get updated until it crosses the atlantic to the UK?

I ordered mine on Monday the 20th, it shipped on the 22nd, received it Friday the 24th - USPS to Austin, Texas. I haven't had a chance to digest it yet, but it looks awesome!

This is horrible.

I ordered on the 20th and paid priority shipping.

I hadn't heard anything by the 23rd so I sent a email

I get a responce from a Mark Larson on the 24th and he says the following

"Due to the inordinate number of orders we've received for the Edge of the Empire Beta Book as well as our recent return from Gen Con, our warehouse is a bit behind in shipping those out. Your package should go out today or tomorrow."

Well it is now tomorrow and it hasn't shipped yet.

Nothing on the website about a delay in shipping, and if they did not expect to get so many orders for this game then they are grossly unprepared as a company.

No I will never order anything from this company again, the way the handle ordering is horrible.

I run an online buissness and sell many items every month so I know a little bit about how to treat customers who order product and that all items should be mailed out with 24 hours (weekends and holidays not included) At longest it should take 2-4 days to mail out product ordered, if it is going to be longer then that should be made clear when the order is place.

I ordered this book to give it a look over. Since I placed the order I spoke to someone who had a chance to play the game at GenCon and was able to do a little more research on the item. I am trying to keep an open mind until I get the chance to read through the book but most likely it will be put aside because it is a little release beta copy worth some money.
