Does anyone know of a good online source for Ship deck maps that are compatable with DH/WH40K?
Ship Maps
Your best bet will be to make your own, this will help give you some ideas : http://malleus.dk/Ordo/Blueprints.aspx
Considering the size of most ships your better off just designing the small section the team are going to encounter. I tend to use the old space hulk tiles alot, there very useful if you have a good set of them.
The following link contains the scale of an inquisitorial "black ship" from the module "Purge the Unclean"

While it does not include "complete deck plans", it helps to get a feel for the scale such a ship can have. And it gives you heigth and width. Personally, I found this official scale to be very helpfull!

Thanks, I've always found GW's Lack of detail on some things annoying.
Look up the game tiles by skeleton key games. They can be mixed and matched to create various floor plans, however, they don't exactly have the 40k feel to them. They have a more generic Sci-Fi feel.
The trouble with doing accurate ship maps and deck plans for the well know 40K ships is that most of them are so freekin' big. A Sword Class frigate for example is roughly a bit bigger in size than an Imperial Class Star Destroyer from Star Wars (and it's one of the smaller ships in the Imperium). This makes full plans rather difficult to produce if not totally impractical. Not to mention over the centuries each ship in the Imperium and Chaos ships change due to a number of factors so that few if any two ships of the same class will be exactly alike. Tau, Necron, and Eldar ships it stands to reason are a lot more standardize yet due to size and design, are not any more easier to map out. Forget Ork , 'nid, and Kroot ships, they are built as they are needed and never standard.
Granted there are smaller ships out there that could be far more easily mapped. However not much has been explored in regards to them and their roles within their respected navies. I suspect we'll have to wait for Rogue Trader and the starship construction rules to see this.
The best advice I can give for producing "Ship Maps" for your game is to come up with a map series of "standard rooms", corridors, airlocks, accessways, open and closed areas. Then create as series of non-standard rooms. You could also use various premade "ship tiles" that are available online or from already established games. Mark all of your room maps for reference. From there draw out a rough guide chart of what rooms are in a certian section of a ship and how they are linked together. That way PC's can move from one room to the next and it's known where they are.
Most habitable areas of a ship will have a large degree of "standard" design, save for special rooms, modified, destroyed, or non-specific areas. Don't worry too much if the rooms don't "fit". There is a lot more ship than just the habitable areas, and more often than not it doesn't have bearing on the game.
