Axis jet fighters
No, Maschinen Krieger (or Ma.K) is a sci-fi setting created by Japanese artist Kow Yokoyama about thirty years ago. It started as garage kits but have grown from there and although it's still largely unknown in the west it has provided inspiration to many western sci-fi artists. You can read more in the wikipedia article and here's a gallery with all kinds of cool Ma.K stuff.
I'm positive Paolo Parente is well aware of this stuff since it's similar in many ways. However, the new fighter is the first Dust model I've seen that immediately immediately made me think of Ma.K (although the allied walkers definitely took some of their design from the Gans . Just look at the feet).

Talked to someone with info that told me the one Jet was armed with a anti-tank weapon or cannon.

That axis fighter has a look that is very in line with the old Dust strategy game.
