for example, Athena is a character what no have a lastest version and her set is legacy, my questions is: can i use athena in standar format? because i read while a character no have a lastest version, is valid in standart format, but his support not.

Umm..any character that doesn't have a 4 point shuriken on the character card will no longer be legal after the next rotation..unless something has changed since i last heard

neither STG nor FFG said any versions of a character would "stay legal" just because they don't have a version in standard rotation. This was purely wishful thinking on the boards.
