I have a quick question about the night goblin fanatic 's damage dealt.

My question is, if the roll is successful, is the 2 uncancellable damage

A) immediately dealt and resolved (thus killing all units with 2 or less remaining hit points) or

B) is it just assigned and only resolved when all combat damage is resolved?

My take is version A, but my brother argued for case B, hence the question

His effect is a triggered effect, and is considered non-combat damage, so it is applied/assigned/resolved immediately.
