Last quest in the box is based on the flight from Goblin Town. Out of the Frying-Pan, Into the Fire.

I can't even think about Goblin Town without the '77 movie soundtrack popping into my head:

That movie is freaking awesome.

Love the Rankin and Bass Hobbit and Return of the King. As well as the Ralph Bahkshi Lord of the Rings. Got my daughter who is 8 into watching the Hobbit animated movie, reading the book and wanting to go see the movies coming out. Just need to get her into the card game.

Foe-Hammer makes me all tingly. Goblin-Cleaver is good too, but Foe-Hammer!

I missed the part about "immune to player card effects" on Beorn. So no armor or healing, 1 defense, and only 10 hit points. That's not a lot really. I know that Elrohir has been given a LOT more than 20 points cumulative damage in some of my games.

Unfortunately I do not have access to a scanner or a way to show you cards. I can tell you the art is as good as it has been and the preview cards you have seen so far are in that same grouping.

Goblin cleaver + Thalin + Gondorian Spearman = a 4 HP enemy killed as he attacks. Sweet !

So you are in Florida? I am curious as to if you got it early due to some involvement with FFG or GenCon or if your local store actually had it for sale already?

The store I work for received our shipments today. I opened my copy to take a peek and share.
