Elrond Deck that's working pretty well !

By Troymk1, in Strategy and deck-building

54 Cards using 2 Core Sets

Deck consists of;

Elrond, Beravor, & Glorfindel (Spirit) for a starting threat = 28

Lore

3 x Daeron's Runes

3 x Warder of Healing

2 x Asfaloth

2 x A Burning Brand

2 x Master of the Forge

2 x Gleowine

2 x Haldir of Lorien

2 x Gildor Inglorion

2 x Miner of the Iron Hills

Spirit

3 x Miruvor

3 x Light of Valinor

3 x Elrond's Counsel

3 x Imladris Stargazer

3 x A Test of Will

3 x Hasty Stroke

2 x Northern Tracker

2 x Arwen Undomiel

2 x Unexpected Courage

2 x The Galadhrim's Greeting

1 x Will of the West

1 x Fortune or Fate

Neutral

3 x Gandalf

3 x Vilya

This deck is VERY powerful. Use the multiple ways to manipulate your deck to pull cheap cards and use Vilya to bring the expensive cards to bear for free. Obviously Unexpected Courage and Miruvor should be used to keep Elrond fresh after using Vilya.

Yeah, I've been rolling with a deck that's essentially a watered-down version of your build (same hero lineup and most of the same cards, but all my Gandalves, UC's, Tests, etc. are in other decks). Even without all the conventional power cards, the Elrond engine is so powerful that it can cruise through most any scenario. Takes a little bit of finesse in order to manipulate the deck correctly, but it's definitely fun to just crank out an army of allies.

I haven't gotten my Shadow and Flame in yet. What does Elrond look like? (stats and ability I mean)

Sorry I didn't see the activity on this thread.

I've been playing 2 player with a gent I was lucky enough to find living my my very own complex.

This deck is the most powerful I have come across, even without attachments adding to any of the base stats of the heroes I have been able to deal with most anything the Encounter deck has thrown at me (except a very nasty run in with attercop attercop in Return to Mirkwood.
