Twin Elves Deck

By Pharmboys2013, in Strategy and deck-building

This deck's main strength comes when playin with ideally two people; with this deck focused entirely on combat and the other questing/support. On its own however, it can still stand its ground on the quests that require little will power (Conflict at the Carrock, Road to Rivendell, etc.) Overall its also one of the funniest decks i've built because of its raw strength.

Strategy:

Quest with Prince (and hopefully boost his WP w/attatchments) and attack and defend all of middle earth with the twins. Most of the cards are 1-2 resources and the ones that arent belong to the Leadership sphere which is more likely to generate resources via the two purple heroes and Steward of Gondor. The allies mainly serve to assist in defending or killing and almost all can refresh Prince. Trollshaw Scout and Watcher of the Brunien fit the elven theme of the deck and can also be kept in play by discarding any unnecessary duplicate attachments (like rivendell bow) and even reset Prince when discarded. Keen-eyed took was a new addition that actually fits quite well since he provides cheap WP and can even be thrown back in my hand refreshing Prince yet again. Erestor is there for questing plus getting additional cards. Everything else in the deck is self explanatory and really does wonders when playing with a second person.

Yeah, those twins are good, although I think the defender is way better than the attacker (since after all his defending, he can still attack). My wife and I have been playing together. I'm tactics with one, and she's leadership with the other. Last week we busted out all of the first 9 quests and this week we hope to get through Khazad Dum!

huh; i can imagine they would probably be even more useful if they were split between two decks but since I often play solo I usually try and make decks that can be used regardless of how many players there are. And yea the defender one is great; with some boosts he can even shrug off Durin's Bane
