Is there an xpac that contains a lot of item cards?

I see xpacs that have a couple of item cards included amongst other things, but can't find anything devoted to it. With this game having the option to layout your character's abilities, etc through cards, it would be interesting to provide options to enhance this further through equipment decks as well. Even just basic stuff, like regular weapons.

Not to mention how such cards could be shuffled face down, filtered accordingly by item power, so players can draw loot randomly from treasures. Just seems like a cool natural fit given the way this game is.

No, there's no expansion devoted to item cards. There are generic item cards created by Paizo @ paizo.com/gameMastery/itemPacks . These cards are meant to be useful in any roleplaying game.

From what I can gather from FFG's releases the items included are often adventure specific (i.e. plot items), or items that in other ways are connected to the expansion they are included in (for example the blessed warhammer included in the Faith of Sigmar PoD). Due to this there are a lot of very specific and/or special items, but very few basic and generic ones.

There's been no indication from FFG that they intend to create cards for basic equipment. But who knows? I agree it would fit the game.

I believe the subject has been brought up in the "WFRP Print on Demand expansions" part of the forums. Where lots of ideas for future print on demand supplements came up. As the print on demand expansions consists only of cards it would be a perfect way to sell things such as item card expansions, location card expansions or other similar things. And it's easy for the customers to pick up the expansions they want. FFG did not join in that discussion though.
