shadow dupe

If you bring a dupe out of the shadows do you get to trigger the response?

Nope - a dupe is considered to have no text, title, icons, or traits. You could trigger a response that read "After you bring a card out of Shadows…" but the text on the card itself would not be active.

The text on the ability says "Response: After Young Griff comes out of Shadows, stand any number of characters you control. … " When you bring the second copy out of Shadows, it is a dupe that comes out of Shadows, not a card named "Young Griff." So the play restrictions aren't met.

Plus, by the time the card is out of Shadows and in play, it's a dupe without any text, so there is nothing to trigger anyway. And since the card is self-referential, you wouldn't be able to trigger the Response on the one already in play, either.

ktom has clarified this, but my answer would not have changed based on your explanation.
