We are pleased to announce that finally, the Battle for the Wall has a date. A project full of work and illusion that has been brewing for a long time where several players led by koci has been working very hard in order to organize an event that a community of players like ours deserve.

The event will be based in the world of A song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin and focused in agot LCG, but with many more surprises to come. An event made for fans by fans, and you are all invited.

According to the forecast and by the amount of players interested in the same, it will becom one of the 3 biggest tournament of agot lcg made up to date in Spain and, probably, it will be counted into one of the most important ones celebrated in Europe.

The Battle at the wall will take place the 22nd and 23rd - September - 2012

The organization of an event like this one requires an adequated space for it. We think we'll have 60-100 bannermen, but it can be increased to 150 since we have space for them. The place chosen for the event will be the Centro Cívico de Getafe Sector 3, a place where other battles has been fought (some koteis of L5R) covering the logistics in order to make the event comfortable.

Even more, the zone has a Metro Station near (Metrosur Conservatorio L12), Train station (Cercanías, Getafe Sector 3), bus lines (441 y 444 de interurbanos de la comunidad de Madrid y L1 del servicio municipal de Getafe). We also have a mall near the place in order to cover our food supplys.

Inscription:

Inscriptions can be made from 1st May to the 5th September (both included.) The price will be 20 euros till the 15th August. From that day, the cost will raise to 25 euros. In case you decide to cancel the inscription you may ask for a refund if you had cancelled it before the 5th of september. If you cancel it from that day you won't have the right of refund.

To formalize the inscription, you have to send an email to [email protected] with the next data:

Name and surnames of the players
ID National document
Email address
Residence address

And make the deposit in the current account nº 0072 0544 65 0000101078 in the Banco Pastor with the concept "Campeonato Juego de Tronos" and the name of the player in order to be able to identify you.

Seats are limited (till we complete all seats) so we recommend to acquire them the earlier the best in order to secure your participation

In relation to accommodation, the organization is currently negotiating with several hotels, inns and lodging near the tournament site to offer the opportunity to acquire an entry that includes housing with a special low price, according to the requirements that each player has

Our path to the battlefield is still on its course. One and a half month prior to the event and the people are taking their place making reservations swift and quickly! We have the pleasure to announce that we'll count with the presence, as special guest, of the great Spanish artist and illustrator Nacho Molina in the tournament Battle for the Wall 2012.

Nacho will be in the venue both days that the tournaments takes place, for you to ask anything you want about his work, for him to sign any of the cards that count with his fabulous illustrations, or just to have a chat with him and know how does the designing process and making of an illustration works for a card or for a board game.

We really recommend you to visit his blog to check out some of his amazing works, lots of them related with the world of A Song of Ice and Fire.

Nacho Molina will be our very own Santa Claus carrying all the gifts we have commissioned him for the tourney, and among them will be lots and lots of prints with some of his best illustrations, that will end in the hands of the players from top 4 to 8, being the rest of them meant to be distributed by toss-up!.

Best of it: the main course will be two fantastic lotteries of a sketch made by the very own Nacho Molina in situ. At the beginning of both of the days of the Battle for the Wall tournament, we'll have a raffle with all participants of the tourney for the privilege of having all the talent of such a great artist as is Nacho at your disposal to make you a sketch of whatever you want. As easy as "I won the golden ticket", go to Nacho Molina and say "Nacho, I want you to sketch this…" and at the end of the day, you'll have your very own personal illustration!
